Arsene Wenger signs new three year deal

Arsene Wenger, the manager of Arsenal FC has finally put pen to paper and signed a deal which will see the top boss remain at the club until 2017.

Throughout the season there had been much speculation as to whether the Gunners boss would stay following an eight year wait for a piece of silverware. Arsene Wenger had mentioned that regardless of whether or not the FA Cup was won, that would not be a deciding factor of the manager staying.

This said, Arsenal did indeed go on to win this years FA Cup with a convincing comeback victory over Hull City. The long drought for a trophy having officially ended.

Monaco Arsene Wenger Rumours

Rumours had circulated towards the back end of the season that Wenger had been approached about a return to AS Monaco. This rumour was quashed numerous times by Wenger, although having taken so long to sign a new contract, many fans were left speculating.

Now that a new deal has been signed, fans will be hoping the board will be releasing more funds for Arsene Wenger to spend in the summer to bolster the squad and to remain title challengers.
