England bosses are prepared to roll the dice as Sam Allardyce has been named as the new England manager, effective immediately.
Allardyce is no stranger to being in the running for the top job in England as he was named as one of the front runners before Roy Hodgson was finally appointed.
He will now be the 15th manager of the England national side, and will be looking to build his team in anticipation of the World Cup in Russia in 2018.
Concerns are currently being expressed in the footballing world that Allardyce has never managed at the highest level in club football before, having had stints with English Clubs including Bolton, Blackburn and West Ham.
Some familiar faces are available for Sam Allardyce though in Nolan and Carroll from West Ham. Nolan also having played under Allardyce at Bolton Wanderers.
